Greenwood has been a key figure for a Getafe team looking to book a spot in European competition next season. He has scored three goals and assisted four in La Liga to help the Madrid club to ninth in the table. However, he was sent off in his first match of 2024 for allegedly insulting the referee, but that red card was subsequently rescinded.
DID YOU KNOW?
Getafe have already expressed their desire to sign Greenwood on a permanent deal at the end of the season, having reportedly submitted a £40 million ($51m) offer for him. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested, but it has been claimed the Camp Nou side are reluctant to make an offer because they fear blowback from the club's fans due to the charges of sexual assault and domestic violence that were dropped.
