Charlton Athletic fans on Twitter concerned over the future of their promotion-winning manager Lee Bowyer are starting to panic after the latest update.
The Express and Star reported on Wednesday that Sky Bet Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion are keen to hold talks with the 42-year-old about their vacant manager’s role.
This came after the Baggies sacked head coach Darren Moore a couple of months ago when automatic promotion slipped out of the reach of the Hawthorns club.
Now their search for a new boss is continuing and may stop at the Valley, much to the displeasure of Charlton supporters who want to keep the perpetrator of their promotion from League One.
One threating member of the Addicks’ faithful branded the situation as “worrying,” one more stated that he had a bad feeling about Bowyer and another took aim at owner Roland Duchatelet in fear.
