During the game, Salah hit the back of the net as Liverpool won 2-1 – scoring his 50th European goal for the club in the process – and Fowler could not resist a gag at Logan's expense as the coverage drew to a close. Logan has recently been named as one of the presenters of the revamped Match of the Day, as she will share hosting duties with Kelly Cates and Mark Chapman after Gary Lineker stepped down from the role.

Fowler said: "It was a night for a couple of firsts. The first Liverpool player to 50 goals and first Liverpool player to become Mo Farah. He must've walked 10,000m easy."
Logan replied: "This Champions League new format is a marathon not a sprint. We're not normally here in January. When sporting worlds collide, apologies. Sorry that Mo Farah is trending on X. Mo Salah, however, should be trending because he's a phenomena."
WHAT NEXT?
Salah will next be in action when Liverpool play Ipswich Town this weekend. Whether he decides to bring out the Mo-Bot remains to be seen.
