The 24-year-old is said to be unhappy with his current role at Madrid following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and it was recently revealed that Arsenal and Chelsea are both keeping tabs on him.
The Brazilian camp has apparently contacted clubs in England to assess the market, and the price being floated is between €80 million (£67m/$91m) and €100m (£84m/$114m). However, despite all the speculation, Rodrygo has never publicly said he wants to leave.
WHAT XABI ALONSO SAID
Alonso says he has no desire to let the 24-year-old leave in the next transfer window, though, telling reporters: "Rodrygo is a Real Madrid player, and I will speak to everyone at Real Madrid. They deserve it, and we need him. Rodrygo is an amazing player; we will need him."
