Neville suggested the recruitment at United has been "abhorrent" and that the number of players who have failed badly at the club means yet more surgery is required this summer. He also claimed that Bruno Fernandes is the only signing to have worked out for 10 years.

United sit 16th in the Premier League but could still qualify for the Champions League if they beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final next week, which would improve their spending power this summer.
WHAT NEVILLE SAID
Speaking on the Overlap Fan Debate, Neville said: "There are three or four players that will leave through being out of contract, and he needs to get five or six out, and they're going to have to pay to get them out. I genuinely believe it's been a graveyard for every player that's joined that club in the last 10 years apart from Bruno. There's not one player joined that club that's improved apart from him. The rest of them, whether you go back to [Angel] Di Maria and [Bastian] Schweinsteiger, every player that's signed has gone backwards."
